NicolaNicola the Joint Principal has been teaching for Helen O'Grady for almost 18 years, firstly as a teacher and as a Principal for over 14 years. In 2018 Nicola become a Training Supervisor for the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy, training Principals across the network.
Nicola trained at the East 15 acting school and gained a BA Honours in Acting. Most recently as an actress her experience has been in TV commercials and film. Previously, she has worked in musical theatre, corporate work and has toured the UK performing in theatre and educational productions in primary and secondary schools and also leading workshops.
Nicola is the Singing Coordinator for the charity "Kissing it Better" working with local schools, coordinating events for Hospitals, care homes and singing for NHS events, sometimes with her son. In 2017 they appeared in a BBC documentary together about the charity’s work with older people.

Andrew trained at the East 15 acting school where he gained a BA Honours in Acting, after which, he has become a successful actor in TV Commercials in the UK and across Europe. He is often on the TV demonstrating his comedy skills.
Andrew also worked as a drama teacher at the Method Studio (formally the Lee Strasburg Acting School) specialising as a Shakespeare tutor. He also worked as a writer of song links for a BBC radio 1 DJ.
Nicola and Andrew are a husband and wife team have two boys who also attend the Academy!

Natasha founded a non-profit youth theatre company in her home town in India aged 17 and began teaching and directing adaptations of well known plays, encouraging school and college students from both public and private institutes to explore their talents in the arts.
Alongside this, Natasha qualified in Film and Drama from Queen Mary, University of London. Upon graduating, she has been facilitating and leading the Creative Learning Program at The Park Theatre and has directing and assistant directing credits at Theatre Royal Stratford East, The Park Theatre, The White Bear, The Etcetera, The RichMix and most recently at The Royal Court Theatre.

Lucy’s love for the Performing Arts has been shaped by her own experiences as a child. She regularly took part in Speech and Drama Festivals, LAMDA Examinations and performed in countless productions growing up with Blag Youth Theatre, Manchester University Drama Society and Character Creation Theatre. More recently, she has worked as a Drama Facilitator at Hackney Shed. Having previously trained at Goldsmiths University on the Primary Teaching PGCE Programme, Lucy holds a wealth of teaching experience both in the UK and overseas. She is passionate about delivering drama workshops that ignite an individual’s spark, instil confidence through creativity and inspire a world of fun! She lives in Hackney with her husband Steve and their two bunnies – Chia & Chutney.

Verônica is a Brazilian actress graduated with distinction from Drama Centre London in the MA Acting course, which included two months training in Russia at the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute. In Brazil, she attended one of the most prestigious BA Acting courses at Escola Superior de Artes Célia Helena. In London, Verônica has worked on several short films and appeared in the play “Before the Sun Rises” at Theatre 503.

Having worked and toured with various companies, Clare then moved into movement direction and then directing. Her work as a facilitator in theatre has brought her into schools and prisons as well as with several professional companies.
Clare continues to direct and is ever passionate about new work.

Michael started as a pupil of the North London Helen O'Grady Drama Academy when he was 5 years old and continued with the classes until the age of 18. He has since been working in the office and has worked his way up to Office Administrator. Michael started teaching classes last year and has proved to be a very popular teacher who the kids love!
Michael's experience covers a wide range of areas including professional acting, photography, digital media editing, he is an IT Technician and also makes Origami!

Mariana is a Colombian actor and director, that has worked as a drama teacher and facilitator both for children and adults in Spanish, English and Italian. After graduating from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, she has constantly worked with children. She believes that drama is the best tool to develop socials skills and be happier. She also runs her own theatre company and works as a theatre translator. Mariana has acting, directing and assisting directing credits at Arcola Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, Rada Festival, Warren Theatre.
