Here's what some of our students and parents have to say:
"Drama Kids has been the making of my daughter, she was shy and reserved but has since blossomed into a confident child who is now even thinking of pursuing a career in acting!" (Sarah - Stoke Newington)
"I was a student at Drama Kids [formerly Helen O'Grady] for over 13 years and I loved every minute of it. It was an opportunity to meet new people, boost my confidence and learn about acting whilst having a fantastic time with new-found friends. My teachers Nicola and Andrew were great at implementing activities for the class and giving one to one support to help us realise our potential. Drama Kids [formerly Helen O'Grady] has definitely been one of the best experiences of my life!" (Michael - one of our longest-running students and currently a Teacher!)
"What is the difference between a Stage School and a Drama Academy?" - A Stage School offers training for the stage which usually covers singing, dancing and drama. Our Drama Academy takes a more holistic approach, offering training in other areas such as improvisation, speech, movement for acting (Laban), script-work, plays and role-playing. We use acting and drama training as a tool to help students realise their true potential as confident, well-articulated, expressive, communicative and imaginative human beings.
